The Division of Student Affairs delivers a wide array of resources. We support students through their development at Berkeley, advance their personal growth, and prepare them for engaging in a complex world. We help academically distinguished young people navigate a path to Berkeley, guide them on a seamless journey through virtually all aspects of campus life, and provide critical financial support to the many thousands who also have financial need. Our priorities include the Berkeley Undergraduate Scholarship Fund and programs designed to enhance the student experience. These include a major effort to revitalize the heart of campus around Sproul Plaza as the locus of a new commitment to students on the Berkeley campus; Campus Life & Leadership, fostering students’ leadership development and civic engagement; the Career Center, which helps students prepare for graduate school and the professional world; and programs centered in our Residence Halls, which build community in 24/7 living-learning environments.
