The School of Social Welfare prepares students for careers in the publicly-supported social services and their private and non-profit partners. Our highest priority is establishing student fellowships to ensure that well qualified and diverse individuals enter the social work profession. As a leader in social work education and research, the school is also committed to strengthening support for research and endowed chairs to enable its faculty to pursue new directions, train graduate students, and help administrators and policymakers improve services.
