Fellowships for exceptional graduate students

Support for graduate fellowships enables the School of Information to be financially accessible to the highest caliber prospective master’s and Ph.D. students. Increasing fellowship funding allows the I School to recruit top applicants from throughout California and around the world — offering admission and financial support to students who are often competitively recruited by peer institutions. The University has promised $10 million in matching funds for new fellowship endowments — a commitment that significantly leverages fellowship gifts directed to the I School for generations of students.
