From the early detection of rare cancers to finding new sources of clean, renewable energy, the faculty and students at Berkeley’s top-ranked College of Engineering are changing our world for the better. The College of Engineering is educating global leaders whose technological depth is matched by strong communication and entrepreneurial skills; creating sustainable energy solutions; engineering better health in the United States and around the world; and, contributing to our world through new technology that alleviates poverty and opens up economic opportunity.
The Campaign for Berkeley Engineering will position the college to succeed in the fierce competition for top faculty. New scholarships and fellowships will create more opportunities for our students to excel in their studies and in the practice of leadership. Increased support for the programs and facilities that foster technological innovation will drive economic productivity and make the world a healthier, safer place.
The Campaign for Berkeley Engineering will raise $300 million for the Annual Fund and four key programmatic initiatives that reinforce our core strengths in teaching and research to make a tangible and beneficial impact on our world.
Customized giving opportunities are also available to support faculty, students, research programs, and capital projects in Engineering’s seven academic departments and across the College of Engineering.
